The Hometown Greencastle Initiative

The Initiative's vision is in the future; its mission, now, is a strategic process and conceptual model initiating interaction through-out the community to accomplish several goals.

  • Preserving community assets
  • Advocating community strengths
  • Improving understanding of opportunities
  • Identifying challenges to community
  • Empowering citizen involvement
  • Recognizing citizen participation

"COMMUNITY FORWARD" INITIATIVE

Elected in 2008, Mayor Sue Murray, a Hometown Alliance Member, initiated an exciting "Community Forward" citizen-led initiative.
